Use:
- It is a specially designed device which helps the Topman to escape in the shortest possible time in case of any blow out.
Working:
- The Topman on the monkey board embarks the chair trolley and comes down at a controlled descend speed in case of an emergency.
- Topman can also use the hand brake if required.
- As the trolley chair comes down, the other empty chair unit goes up.
- The whole system does not require any external source of power such as electricity and is completely driven by gravity.
Application:
- Emergency Escape Device is specifically designed to suit the requirements of oil rigs. However it can also be used for other applications which may demand similar escape facility at heights.
